Being tested on these details enhanced my understanding of the school's high expectations for student accountability.
Returning to studies in my early 40s after an extended hiatus, my first experience with Edpuzzle was significant as it exposed me to technological advancements that have occurred since my previous academic pursuits. As the demand for a master's degree as a minimum requirement is increasing, it is reassuring to clearly understand the following steps to optimize my learning journey with Moreland University. The course catalogue provides ample information to set further goals and track personal time allotment to pursue them.

The InTASC standards and Clinical Rubrics define the expectations and intentions to facilitate the success of every teacher in their profession. They outline personal, professional, and ethical frameworks teachers must strive for throughout their careers. The standards enhance teaching practices and student outcomes by providing clear expectations, consistent assessments, targeted professional development, enhanced self-reflection, and informed decision-making, increasing motivation and accountability and contributing to a more effective and dynamic educational environment.
Understanding that teaching expertise is not linear but develops over time is reassuring. Having standards to provide a vision of professional growth and expected performance levels enables teachers to cultivate a flexible mindset. I intend to use the Clinical Rubric to guide my professional excellence, particularly in collaboration and communication with experienced peers. I appreciate belonging to an institution that supports my development, not only for certification attainment but also for the holistic advancement of the school community. Recognizing particular strengths and aspects needing improvement will help me concentrate on enhancing my skills and methods to foster individual development.
The learning progression will guide me in refining strategies and progressing along the learning continuum. It is enlightening to realize the potential to transition beyond the role of a facilitator to a collaborative position in the learning journey.
